OSHA WALKWAY BEAMS (SUPPORTS) WITH TOE PLATE
Walkway beams are structural channels
(spaced on 5'- 0" centers). with handrail supports and two strands of
1½" O.D. galvanized tubular handrailing. Handrail material is" necked
down" (swaged) at one end, providing a telescoping "slip fit" joint.
No Threads or couplings required to join Handrail together. Attachment hardware for top
handrail is designed for "continuous grip". Included are 4" toe plate, and
plated assembly bolts. Walkway beams provide for 24" decking and are drilled for
decking assembly.
Entire walkway is designed to conform to MARCO
interpretation of OSHA specifications, including requirement that "handrail shall be
able to accept a 200 lb. force in any direction". Walkway beams are available
for one, or both, sides of conveyor.
WALKWAY DECKING
All steel non-kid Grip-Strut decking, 24" wide (in two
12" widths). may be field tack-welded or bolted to walkway beams. Decking is 14 ga.
and available in 5 ft and 10 ft lengths. Included are plated assembly bolts and special
washers.
