CONVEYOR FRAME
MARCO Model Tubular Frame.
ASSEMBLY BOLTS
Acid cleaned and plated.
PULLEYS
MARCO Pulleys have machined faces to insure concentricity
with the bore, and are equipped with Taper-Lock or QD Bushings. Pulley faces are 4"
wider than Belt.
HEAD PULLEY LAGGING
All Head Pulleys are lagged with 3 ply, Rough Top Rubber
Lagging, installed in multiple widths to ensure conformity to crowned face. Slide Lagging
and vulcanized lagging is available upon request.
IDLERS
MARCO Series M15 --- 4 1/2" dia. pre-lubricated Ball
Bearings which require no further field lubrication. Troughing Idlers are spaced on 4'-0'
centers with two extra at the loading point; Re- turn Idlers are spaced on 10'-0"
centers. 35o Idlers are standard - 45o are optional.
BELT TAKE-UP
50'-100' Lengths - Screw type, acid cleaned and plated,
providing 21" adjustment.
125'-175' Lengths - Equipped with Gravity Take-Up with 12" dia. Bend Pulleys and
18" dia. Sliding Pulley. Gravity Take-Ups are equipped with Cage and Slide Rails.
RETURN BELT WIPER (OPTIONAL)
"Plow Type", equipped with Gum Rubber Flashing
and mounted in front of Tail Pulley to prevent entrance of material between Return Belt
and Pulley. The Wiper is integral with the Screw Take-Up, providing fixed relation- ship
between Wiper and Pulley, regardless of Take-Up set- ting. Not furnished with
Self-Cleaning Pulley.
HEAD END BELT WIPER
Equipped with Double Rubber Squeegee and adjustable tension
springs providing constant pressure on Belt surface. Mounted under Head Pulley for
greatest efficiency.
LOADING HOPPER
Loading Hopper is 5' long and 8" in depth, and it is
equipped with adjustable Gum Rubber Flashing. A 4' dia. Conical Attachment (optional)
provides liberal target for the transfer of material. |

OSHA
WALKWAY BEAMS, WITH TOE PLATE Structural
Channel Walkway Beams- with Vertical Handrail Supports are provided for 5'-0"
spacing. Also included are two strands of 1 1/22" O.D. Galvanized Tubular
Handrailing, and 4" Toe Plate - all with plated Assembly Bolts. Attachment hardware
for top Handrail is designed for "continuous grip". Entire Walkway is designed
to conform to MARCO interpretation of OSHA specifications, including requirement that
"Handrail shall be able to accept a 200 lb. force in any direction."
WALKWAY DECKING
24" wide, non-skid Grip-Strut Steel Walkway Decking
(Galvanized) is provided including Plated Assembly Bolts and Special Washers.
CONVEYOR DRIVE
Drive includes Shaft Mounted Helical Gear Speed Reducer
(Gears are enclosed and running in oil), Driver and Driven Sheaves and Vee Belts. All
Drive components are selected to adequately transmit horsepowers.
BACKSTOP
A Backstop is provided. Mounts in the Reducer and runs in
oil.
ELECTRIC MOTOR
1800 RPM, TEFC, Nema Design "C", Hi-Torque, 3
phase, 60 cycle, 230-460 volt.
POWER PROPELLING DRIVE (OPTIONAL)
Provides wheel speed of 34 to 43 FPM (3.6 RPM). Drive
includes TEFC Motor (230-460V), Electric Brake, or Time Delayed Electric Brake, Starting
Torque Dampener, Gear Reducer, Chain Drive with Guard, and Forward - Reverse
"Dead-Man" Push Button. Starter not included.
OSHA-MSHA GUARDS
Protective Pulley and Drive Guards, constructed of expanded
metal, are included as standard.
